Governor Akeredolu inaugurates new Osopadec board.

Ondo state Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has inaugurated the newly constituted board of Ondo state oil producing area development commission ( OSOPADEC). The inauguration held at The Dome Alagbaka, Akure, on Monday, the 10th of April, 2017.

The board has as its Chairman, Hon. Gbenga Edema, former member, House of Assembly, representing Ilaje constituency.
The eight-man – board has as its secretary, Dr. Koledoye.

While inaugurating the board, Governor Akeredolu charged them to hit the ground running, reminding them that it now becomes their lot to ensure that unhindered development is attracted to the oil rich Coastal area of Ondo state which is blessed with a large quantum of oil deposits. He advised the board members not to be influenced by pressure from associates or family members at the expense of the Ilaje nation, stressing that even development is expected across the length and breath of Ilaje land.. He called on Ilaje monarchs to give their sons and daughters on the board of Osopadec adequate support, so that Osopadec can achieve set development need goals and target objective, which are mandate of the body.
