Gen.Bajowa congratulates Ooni of Ife on his golden jubilee birthday celebration .

The Jagunmolu of Ikaleland and Ojagbulegun from The Source , Prince Dr. (Gen) Olu Bajowa, CFR, has extended his hearty congratulations , on behalf of the entire Bajowa Royal Family of Igbotako , to the Arole Oduduwa Olofin Adimula, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife on the occasion of his 50th birthday celebration .
Gen. Bajowa in his statement congratulating the foremost Yoruba monarch and one of the leading light of monarchy in Africa, dated 17th October, 2024, a copy of which was obtained by thepolity . net said , ” your remarkable leadership as the Ooni of Ife had profoundly. impacted not only the Yoruba race but also Nigeria.”
The prominent Nigerian senior citizen and retired Army General averred that Ooni Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi’s tireless efforts laced with nobility of character in uniting the Yoruba race both at home and in The Diaspora have fostered a deep sense of belonging and pride among all the descendants of Oduduwa. ” Your campaign of good governance and pursuit of a better standard of living for all Nigerians reflect your unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s collective future.
” Your humanitarian services and initiatives which focused on youth empowerment and nation building are living testimonies which are commended in enhancing the ideals of progress and hope for the present and future generations, ” Gen. Bajowa stated.
Gen. Bajowa described Oba Enitan Ogunwusi as a beacon of inspiration to the upliftment of the people , stressing that the monarch’s vision and dedication to preserving Yoruba heritage had rekindled a strong sense of identity among Yoruba race.
Reminiscing, Gen. Olu Bajowa, who is the Chairman of Awawa Communications Ltd which operates Awawa 94.1 FM Ayeka , said Ooni of Ife identified with him in 2020 on his 80th birthday which also marked the commissioning of the radio station , Awawa FM , that was established to foster community development and information dissemination across the Ondo South axis of Ikale, Ilaje and Ese Odo and its environment , adding that the Ooni of Ife was in Aiyeka to endorse and put his royal seal on the vision and objective of Awawa radio.
“My prayer is for the Almighty God to give you long life and good health to celebrate your centenarian age on the sacred throne of your forefathers, ” Gen . Bajowa prayed for the Arole Oduduwa.
