First female Secretary to Ondo State Government, the Idepe Okitipupa born Princess Oladunni Odu has described the story of Ondo State as that of enviable resilience, adding that congratulations are in order for all the good people of Ondo State as the state celebrates 50th anniversary of its creation.
Princess Oladunni Odu made this known in an official statement to felicitate both government and good people of Ondo State on the occasion of the epoch making state creation anniversary.
Princess Odu, whose impact is felt across different administration in Ondo State both as Commissioner at different times of Military governance and eventually as Secretary to the State Government during the reign of Gov. Akeredolu, described Ondo State as a story that is steeped in resilience which has seen a lot of challenges but had neither bent nor broken rather has continued to get consolidated like the plantation beside the stream that get buoyed under nature’s essence.
Princess Odu saluted the labour of Ondo State heroes past particularly all the Military Governors, Military Administrators and elected Governors whose strides have impacted governance in The Sunshine State, noting that the story of Ondo State is not complete without their input.
The Ondo South Senatorial hopeful of the All Progressives Congress noted that as the state celebrates 50th anniversary of its creation, the winner are the good people of Ondo State for their steadfastness and for keeping faith always with their darling state of origin. She noted that for The Sunshine State, things can always get better, charging the good people of the state to continue to pray for a more successful and more enviable Ondo State of our collective dream.
