Miss Earth West Midlands Crowns Winner, Honours Environmental Advocates
The Miss Earth West Midlands Coronation and Greener West Midlands Awards, held on March 14, 2026, at Luna Lounge, brought together pageantry and environmental advocacy in a show of purpose-driven engagement.
The event, inspired by the global Miss Earth initiative, sought to redefine traditional pageantry by focusing on sustainability, leadership, and community impact. It attracted participants, creatives, and organisations committed to promoting environmental awareness and social development within the region.
One of the highlights of the evening was the recognition of individuals contributing to environmental advocacy. Laura Hudson received the Ocean & Environmental Advocacy Award for her efforts in promoting sustainability and raising awareness on environmental issues.
The event also featured the crowning of Prab Kaur as Miss Earth West Midlands. She emerged as the winner based on her alignment with the platform’s core values, particularly her dedication to environmental responsibility and community engagement.

A Green Party councillor aspirant, who was also among the awardees, described the event as inspiring, noting its focus on environmental awareness, youth empowerment, and grassroots participation.
Members of the Green Party of England and Wales in Wolverhampton were present at the event. They included Adetoyese Anifalaje, candidate for St Peter’s Ward; Hardev Singh, candidate for Bilston North; Jenny Hibell, the party’s treasurer; and Monika Kapoor, candidate for Wednesbury.
The councillor aspirant noted that such recognition reflects increasing community awareness and appreciation of environmental and political efforts at the local level. He reaffirmed the party’s commitment to promoting unity in the pursuit of a sustainable future.
The event highlighted a growing shift in pageantry, with increased emphasis on advocacy, impact, and community development
