Polytechnic Rector greets Muslim on Islamic New Year

The Rector, Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, Dr. Ademola Iyanda Ebeloku has congratulated Nigerian Muslims on the commencement of the Islamic New Year, 1448 after Hijrah.
The Rector, under whose watch the Polytechnic has evolved in sound technological advancement, noted that Hijrah is a reminder of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) migration from Makkah to Madinah, describing the holy Prophet’s sojourn as that of faith, courage, patience and new beginning. He noted that marking the new year is a call for all faithfuls to migrate from habits that do not serve well the worship of Allah and to renew the faithfuls’ commitment to righteousness, handwork,unity and service to humanity.
The astute Polytechnic Administrator averred that as an institution, The Federal Polytechnic ,Ile-Oluji, celebrates diversity and uphold peaceful coexistence among all faiths. “I encourage the Muslim faithfuls to use the new Islamic year to reflect ,set godly goals and contribute meaningfully to the growth of the school and the nation. May 1448 AH bring peace, good health, progress and Barakah to us all,” Dr.Ebeloku prayed.
While praying for Muslim staffs and students of the Polytechnic, Dr. Ebeloku urged Allah to accept their Ibadah and all acts of worship, forgive their shortcomings and make the new Islamic year one of academic excellence, spiritual growth and fulfillment.
