Olabode Omoyele congratulates Jimi Odimayo on his Primary’ victory
Prominent Ondo South All Progressives Congress,APC Chieftain and billionaire business magnate, Mr.Olabode Omoyele has reached out with hearty felicitations to Hon.Okunjimi Odimayo,Irele born politician and Member House of Representatives over his success at the All Progressives Congress,APC Primary.
Hon.Odimayo is the incumbent Reps member of Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency who beat his close rivals to clinch the party’s ticket to return to the Green Chamber.
According to report from Independent National Electoral Commission,INEC, Jimi Odimayo’s name has been uploaded on its portal as the APC candidate for the elective office of Okitipupa/Irele House of Representatives.
Olabode in his personally endorsed congratulatory statement, noted that his opinion has always been that for every election only a winner can emerge and now that Hon.Odimayo has emerged, the best thing any dyed in the wool progressive minded politician should do is to congratulate him and seek how there can be cohesion and collaboration that will make APC the winner of the Reps poll in the next general election.
He described Hon.Okunjimi as a proud son of Ikale and ‘the poster face’ of APC representation of Ikale land in the House of Representatives, noting that as he emerges as the flag bearer of the party, all party members must come together to work for his victory because doing otherwise will bode quite negatively for the APC corporate brand in Ikale land, adding that APC’s lot and popularity rating must not because of the peculiarity of politics suffer any kind of setback in Ikale land.
Mr.Olabode pleaded with all Ikale APC stakeholders to close rank and build formidable support for the candidacy of Hon.Odimayo, stressing that no matter the politics of the APC Primaries, the cracks that some people might have observed and the ill feeling that anyone might have nursed, they come with party primaries and the cause of advancing party loyalty must be seen as the ultimate.
“Today our great party has supported Odimayo. We too must support the resolve of our party; doing otherwise does not bode well for victory. It is Hon.Odimayo’s lot today,it will be the lot of another politician tomorrow. The level of support anyone gives today will speak about the quality of support they will get tomorrow. So, I plead with all party men and women across the rank and file of our great party to support our party candidate to clinch hitch free vicory at the 2027 General election poll and we should all bear in mind that voting for APC candidates to win from the President, Bola Tinubu to the Rep, Hon.Jimi Odimayo is the major goal of all loyal party members,” Olabode appealed.
The Igbotako born APC Chieftain, Olabode Omoyele, also charged Hon.Odimayo to do well to reach out to co- contenders for the elective office in the spirit of magnanimity, while advising him to bring about a more inclusive representation in his second term at the Green Chamber.
