Princess Oladunni Odu offers patronage to NAOS.

– Awotula Temidayo.

Members of The National Association of Okitipupa Students (NAOS) have benefitted from the patronage of Princess Oladunni Odu, Chairperson SUBEB, Ondo State as the Amazon of Ondo State politics has bankrolled a week long skill acquisition Programme for them.

Among the skills acquired in the course of the training are photography, cake baking, make over skills and training on DSTV installation.

As the programme which held at Stella Maris College, Okitipupa rounds off, Princess Odu who visited the NAOS members congratulated them and charged them to put the skills acquired into good use. She said while it is good to bag Degree Certificate, skill acquisition is of equal importance these days and most universities now teach Entrepreneurial and trade courses as this will stand the graduates in a good stead when they leave school. She noted that most of the skills acquired enhance “Do it yourself’ capability of the youth and encourages self sustainability.

Princess Odu, who is a strong All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholder in Ondo State charged Okitipupa undergraduates to ensure they don’t catch the vote apathy syndrome , noting that as youths they must be interested in the electoral process of picking their political leaders.

“I urge you to come out en mass and vote on the 10th October; as you come out to vote , I urge you to vote the best out of all the brands gunning for the Governorship seat in Ondo State.

” I bring to you the candidate of choice, the talk and do Governor, a man of integrity, a tested and trusted hand, my Governor, your Governor and our Governor, Arakunrin Odunayo Oluwarotimi Akeredolu. He has our interest at heart , he gave us the Redemption Bridge at Ore.

” He has our interest at heart, he gave the South the Deputy Governorship candidate and he has promised that when he rounds off his second tour of duty as Governor, it will be our turn in Ondo South to have a go at the Governorship. As a man who keeps to his words, I have no doubt about his personality,” Princess Odu reiterated.

“I know I can trust you to give Governor Akeredolu massive vote support on election day, ” the SUBEB boss added.
