Rain damages Idepe High school hall.

Rainstorm of a huge proportion has destroyed the hall and a block of class room at the Idepe- Okitipupa owned community secondary School, Idepe High School, Idepe- Okitipupa in Ondo South Senatorial District.
The tornado inclined rainstorm happened around five thirty PM on Wednesday , 6th October, 2021.
The rooftops of the school hall were pulled off and collapsed the planks on the hall.
The saving grace was that the rain fell long after the school hours as this forestalled mortality and calamity of untold proportion.
The Principal of the school , Mrs. Tope Ajibolade while speaking with thepolity.net said the Stakeholders of the school alone can be of help at this stage, stressing that the rain has done a huge damage . She added however that God in his mercy did not allow any life to be lost in the disaster.
Chairman of Okitipupa Local Government Council, Hon. Igbekele Akinrinwa, who visited the school facility after the heavy rainfall described the damage as an unfortunate Development.

“This is a very sudden issue and it’s a very terrible disaster. There is no way governnment will not come into this because it’s a really huge disaster. It’s a natural disaster and it happens once in a while. I will report to the necessary quarters of government and the appropriate assistance will be given,” Hon. Igbekele Akinrinwa added.
