Abodi installs Folasade Tinubu – Ojo as Aare Aje of Ikale.

Ikoya , the cradle of Ikaleland hosted dignitaries across Nigeria on Saturday the 10th September , 2022 as first class Ondo monarch , Abodi of Ikale , His Imperial Majesty, Oba George Babatunde Faduyile conferred the Chieftaincy title of Aare Aje of Ikale on the prominent Lagos business woman of repute, Chief Mrs . Folasade Tinubu – Ojo, the Iyaloja General of Nigeria.
The daughter of the All Progressives Congress, APC Presidential candidate resplendently attired was all eyes attraction at the traditionally rich and colorful installation ceremony held at ‘Ogwa’ in Ikoya.
The event witnessed the gathering of traditional rulers , notable dignitaries including government officials , heads of local communities, prominent APC stalwarts as well as eminent Ikale sons and daughters , who trooped in to witness the historic ceremony.
The conferment was in recognition of Chief Mrs Tinubu- Ojo’s innovative effort in rebuilding markets nationwide , organizing women to achieve progress and her effort in bringing women to limelight in politics and social life.
The royal title also appeals to the sentiment of according the women folk a position to leverage for women emancipation in the men’s presumably dominated world of business.
While speaking at the event , Abodi of Ikaleland, Oba George Faduyile congratulated the newly installed Aare Aje and advised her to intensify her innovation and enthusiasm in bringing considerable progress to Ondo State and Ikale land in particular, noting that her giant stride and support for women’s business growth stood her out for the royal recognition.
Oba Faduyile charged Chief Mrs Folasade Tinubu Ojo not to relent in advancing the course of women’s growth , stressing that the time has come to put ” our best women forward for recognition for them to do better .”
Expressing her gratitude , the Iyaloja General of Nigeria and Aare Aje of Ikale appreciated God who has made her worthy of being noted for such an exalted title and for making the event a huge success, while extending her gratitude to ‘ Abodi – Aba Ayee’ Oba Babatunde Faduyile for bestowing her the foremost title , assuring the royal father that she will continue to improve on all the good qualities that qualified her for the esteemed traditional title.
Chief Mrs. Folasade Tinubu- Ojo also thanked all the monarchs who attended the event, the top government functionaries and guests from far and near , noting that their presence was appreciated.
There was a display of class and fanfare at the reception of guests which held at the Government field Ikoya after the traditional rites of Chieftaincy installation were concluded .
Omo’ba Demola Suzy and his musical band supplied music to lively up the reception while the celebrant and her guests showed soft dancing styles .
On the sideline of the reception, Special Adviser to Gov Akeredolu on Health Matters in Ondo State and Crown Prince of Abodi, Prof Adedayo Francis Faduyile , who had an exclusive chat with thepolity. net called on the celebrant to continue to promote women emancipation.
The former National President of Nigeria Medical Association, NMA said Chief Mrs. Folasade Tinubu Ojo is a good brand from a very good parentage , adding that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu , the APC Presidential flag bearer has grown into a global brand and his victory in the 2023 Presidential election is non- negotiable .
