Appeal court acquits Alfa Babatunde Sotitobire.

The Court of Appeal sitting in Akure, the Ondo State Capital on Friday , 3rd December threw out the decision of the Ondo State High Court which pronounced the founder of Sotitobire Ministry , Pastor Babatunde Alfa guilty in the case of a missing child within the premises of his church during church service late last year.

Justice Olusegun Odusola of the State High Court in his ruling on the case had sentenced the accused and others to life imprisonment over their culpability in the allegation. of Gold , a son of a parishioner of the church, who went missing during church service.

In their Lordships pronouncement on Friday, they ruled that Alfa Babatunde cannot be linked to the allegation. of the missing child and has no case to answer on the matter. They discharged and acquitted him with immediate effect.
