Arogbo Ijaw Chief Council Abuja visits Sen.Faduyile

The Arogbo Ijaw Chief Council, Abuja, a group of Elite Ijaws of Arogbo Ibe kingdom in Ondo State have paid Ondo South Senator, Distinguished Senator Prof.Dayo Faduyile a scheduled visit on Tuesday,11th August,2026 at his National Assembly Office Complex in Abuja.

The group speaking through its spokesperson High Chief Frank Soriwei said they have come to congratulate the Senator over his victory at the polls.The Chief Council promised to give Senator Faduyile every support he will require to succeed in office as the Spokesperson maintained that their host has a great political future ahead of him.

“We have come to congratulate Senator Faduyile and we appreciate his humility as it is obvious this has kept him going in the political terrain over the years.

” I make bold to say that the Chief Council of Arogbo Ijaw in Abuja is very prominent, we are known and recognized at home.ad everyone one of us here seated controls a quarter in Arogbo land,” High Chief Soriwei noted.

He charged Senator Faduyile to continue with his good work and to be steadfast in his humble disposition as a politician, adding that people are observing him and won’t forget in a hurry the fact that as a leader, a politician and a Senator, he has listening ears.

The group also thanked Senator Faduyile for drawing the attention of National Emergency Management Authority to the flood challenge in Ondo South, adding that the flood wreaked havoc also in Agadagba , other areas of Ese Odo and Ilaje, pleading that the relief materials should reach all the communities of Ondo South affected by the flood.

In his reaction, Senator Faduyile thanked the group for coming and appreciated the promptness of the visit.He noted that the Ondo South Senatorial Office at The National Assembly Complex is opened to all the groups from the district as he will channel all the demands presented to him by his constituents to the appropriate quarters.

“It takes a loving people to decide to come and welcome a new person,” Senator Faduyile added.

Members of the Chief Council who visited Senator Faduyile are High Chief Akpatamu,Chief Derifa Tunyan,High Chief Moses Braima and High Chief Patrick Ijambour.

Others are Chief Mrs.Funmi Ojuko Torukerijo,Chief Moses Brume, and High Chief Mrs.Favour Soriwei.
