Be steadfast in religious work, Olabode tells Muslims as Islamic New Year begins

 

Ondo South All Progressives Congress, APC stakeholder, Mr. Olabode Omoyele has warmly congratulated Muslims across Nigeria, particularly those from Ondo South over the commencement of the new Islamic year Hijrah 1448.

 

Olabode said as Nigerians join Muslim faithfuls across the world to mark the beginning of the new Islamic year, it is a thing of joy to celebrate the epoch, urging however that faithfuls should be more steadfast in religious work and should mover closer to God in supplication and pleading to God over Nigerian challenges.

 

Olabode tasked Muslim clerics and leaders of Islamic religion to expand the narrative of Islam as a religion of peace so that those wanting to hide behind the Islamic faith to perpetrate violence in Nigeria can be exposed for what they are, fifth columnists.

 

While congratulating the Muslims over the significant commencement of a new Islamic year, he pray that Nigeria will continue to enjoy peace and inter-faith peaceful coexistence.
