Fathers Day: Gen Bajowa admonishes children to celebrate fatherhood always.

The Jagunmolu of Ikaleland and Ojagbulegun from the source, Prince Dr. Gen. Olu Bajowa ( RTD) has called on children not to limit the celebration of their fathers to just one day in a year as the significance of father transcends just a day celebration.

Gen. Bajowa gave the admonishion on Sunday, the 20th June, world fathers day, 2021.

In a chat with a select media group, Gen. Bajowa said the role of father is a very special role both in the home and in the society at large , stressing that the Bible injunction that the world should be populated was a charge given to man and this alone benchmark the very significance of ‘ man’s position in creation and procreation.

The retired Army General said God invested the responsibility of the head of the family on men and what this implies is that much is expected from the male gender as they serve both as the stabilizing force at home and in the society.

As for people who have Just come into the position of a husband and a father, Gen. Bajowa told them that they should strive to be responsible husbands , and fathers beyond the limits of a day earamajæ

He noted that regardless of the hardship in the society, the father figure deserves a pronounced appreciation because it takes a lot of responsibility to answer to fatherhood .

On the challenge bedevelling the country in the area of insecurity, Gen. Bajowa called for a concerted effort to end insecurity in the country. He noted that the government is putting structure in place to quash the threat to peace and stability in Nigeria, stressing that people should support government beyond mere arm chair criticism so that the pockets of insecurity challenge to the nation state can be tackled permanently in Nigeria.
