Get-together holds to celebrate Senator Faduyile
… stakeholders offer suggestions on Ondo South concern

It was an afternoon of merrymaking, expression of warmth and camaraderie as brainy stakeholders from Ondo South Senatorial District gathered to celebrate the victory of Senator (Prof.)Dayo Faduyile, OON, on Saturday, July 4th at Graceland Estate, Oba Ile Akure.
Prof. Dayo Faduyile who won the June 20th Ondo South Senatorial by election has been sworn- in and has resumed Legislative duty in The National Assembly.
The get-together which held at the behest of the Ilaje born enthusiast, friend and big fan of Prof.Faduyile, Mr. Anthony Olasele had in attendance prominent Ondo South persons among whom were The Chairman of Okitipupa Local Govt, Hon.Andrew Ogunsakin, Dr. Soji Omowole, former Rector, Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Barr. Banjo Ayenakin, Hon. Idowu Otetubi, former Commissioner for Water Resources and his wife, Mrs. Otetubi ( Senator Faduyile’s elder sister), Architect Olasele, Chief Architect, Osopadec, the celebrated Senator of The Federal Republic of Nigeria, Sen.(Prof.) Dayo Faduyile,OON and others.
In his address, the host of the event, an Insurance top shot, Mr. Anthony Olasele congratulated Sen.Faduyile whom he described as a leader to watch out for in the power equilibrium of Ondo State, adding that people have a lot of expectations about the Ondo South Senator and he is convinced he will not disappoint.
“The purpose of this gathering is to relax with The Senator and cross fertilize ideas on how we all can chart a new course of growth for Ondo South. We will dance and celebrate and talk to ourselves on major concern about our district,” Olasele noted.
Barr.Banjo Ayenakin, ex NBA Chair, Akure branch described the gathering as timely and needful particularly as Sen.Faduyile is just resuming afresh in The Senate. He advised the Ondo South Senator to consider quick win projects based on the exigencies of the moment.
The legal luminary noted that the challenge of leaders generally is not promptly considering the strategic viewpoint of ‘Tree problems’ and consciously seeking timely solutions, stressing that rather than cherry picking a challenge to solve, leaders should do a thorough need assessment of their people and by so doing the basic knotty challenge will be solved. He called on Prof. Faduyile to embark on legacy projects that will outlive his tenure in the Senate.
The former Rector of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic ,Owo, Dr Soji Omowole charged Senator Faduyile to consider empowerment for the youths of Ondo South, noting that people need job of work that can make them feel fulfilled career wise. “Prof,” Dr Omowole started, “God will help you to succeed . Help the youths with job and empowerment. When people are gainfully employed and they can put food on the table, they will feel fulfilled and won’t forget who helped them with career empowerment.”
The Chairman of Okitipupa Local Govt, Hon. Ogunsakin described the Ondo South Senator as a round peg in a round hole, noting that Prof. Faduyile is a clinical and precise person who knows where the shoe pinches the people of the District. He called on the people of Ondo South to pray for his success and support his development drive.
Senator Prof. Dayo Faduyile, OON, appreciated his friend and brother, Anthony Olasele for convening the reception. He thanked the people of his district for voting him to represent them in The Senate.
The Ondo South Senator however called for re orientation among the people, stressing that while making demands on people’s wants and needs are good, spurious and indefensible demands are orientation that should be disciuraged.He promised to consider skill acquisition for the youths among other legacy strides he will bring to bear on his stay in the 10th Senate.
Senator Faduyile assured that he will align with the leadership of the Senate on legislations that will be geared towards the greater goods of the people of Ondo South.
