The people of Okitipupa and Ore in Ondo South Senatorial District of Ondo State have benefitted from the immense goodwill of a Christian missionary body, Ground of Truth Bible Institute in conjunction with Christ Disciples Church. The palace of Lumure of Ayeka kingdom was the venue of a three day crusade tagged ‘ run for your life’ supported by the Regent of Ayeka kingdom, Her Royal Highness, Princess Barr. Oluyemi Bajowa, who was present alongside the palace Chiefs at the crusade.
On Friday, the 19th of November , the missioners held a massive health outreach at the palace of the Lumure. The health outreach was described as a major highlight of the three day crusade.
Among the items of medical assistance which featured in the course of the health outreach are free medical consultation , free health health information, free eye care examination, free dental health check, high blood pressure (BP)check , cholesterol check, free urine and blood tests.
Medical personnel who attended to the people said the turn out was impressive and lot of people came out from within Okitipupa and as far as Ore to benefit from the health outreach. The health outreach extended to Saturday as there were still many participants who wanted to be attended to by the medical personnel. On Friday alone, 225 beneficiaries participated in the health outreach.

The royal host of the crusade and the Regent of Ayeka kingdom, Princess Barr. Oluyemi Bajowa expressed her delight over the success of the health outreach in an exclusive chat with thepolity.net. ” The three day crusade by the missioners,Ground of Truth Bible Institute in conjunction with Christ Disciples Church is meant to call the people of the community to Christ and it is a good thing that God is remembering Ayeka kingdom and I have huge confidence in God that a deluge of positive testimonies will follow this three day crusade by God’s grace,” the Regent of Ayeka said.
Her Royal Highness Oluyemi Bajowa added that the missionaries have sacrificed a lot in these three days particularly in the area of fasting and unceasing prayers for a positive turn around in the community. She said they have fed the people with spiritual food as well as the medical outreach which is a physical health offer to her subjects as well as those who have come from different part of Ondo South Senatorial District.
While expressing her appreciation, The Regent of Ayeka prayed God to grant the missioners more strength and anointing in God’s work.
The Regent of Ayeka in a follow up conversation with thepolity.net on the medical outreach program said a reference case came up in the course of the health outreach; the girl has less than 9 percent blood after check has been carried out on her. ” A referral case of a girl checked yesterday came up at the medical outreach . It was discovered she had less than 9 percent blood and I have sent her to Life Care Hospital for urgent treatment,” the Regent concluded.
