IWC President , Dayo Ayebo is dead.

Ikale World Congrss, IWC , has lost a rare gem and President of the Congress, Chief Dayo Ayebo.

The announcement of Chief Ayebo’s demise was made available in a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of IWC, Prince Kunle Markson Ayeku from his base in The United States.

The polity.net obtained a copy of the statement by Prince Ayeku on the death of Chief Dayo Ayebo.

Prince Ayeku said IWC announced with deep sorrow and pain the death of a beloved Great son of Ikaleland in The Diaspora, who lived in The United States in his life time and who was President of Ikale World Congress until his death.

Chief Ayebo’s death which sad occurrence took place on Tuesday, 1st Nov ,2022 has been an unfortunate development as his news has attracted mourning by family, friends and colleagues in The Diaspora.

Ayeku noted that the death of IWC President was shocking and unexpected , describing Ayebo as amiable, caring and a peace loving Ambassador of Ikale land in The USA.

Prince Ayeku added that while IWC and every Nigerian abroad are filled with grief over the loss of the amiable gentleman, they are rest assured that he has accomplished his work on earth and he lived a fulfilled life of philanthropy through which he reached out as a source of blessing to Nigerians both at home and in The Diaspora.

He noted that his immense contribution to IWC , Ikale land and Nigeria in general will not be forgotten, stressing that Chief Dayo Ayebo left enviable legacies.

Thepolity .net can reliably report that Chief Ayebo was in Nigeria thrice this year, first to appreciate Ikale Royal fathers on their support for IWC over the body’s effort to consolidate security of lives and property in Ikaleland; he later visited Nigeria to inspect the level of completion of work on the High Court which was touched during the Endsars protest as IWC has championed the reconstruction of the Okitipupa High Court and quite recently he was in Nigeria for the inauguration of the Court, which rehabilitation work, Ikale World Congress had taken upon itself to execute.

Chief Ayebo was a pan Ikale per excellence in The Diaspora and a community stakeholder, whose voice had weight and relevance in his Ikale homestead as he provided quality leadership for Ikale people all through his sojourn abroad.
