Naiyeju extols Olusegun Agagu for road expansion vision, congratulates Senator Faduyile

Irele, Ondo State born former Accountant General of the Federation (AGF), Dr.John Kayode Naiyeju has relived a warm and memorable experience of his relationship with the former Governor of Ondo State and cerebral academic, Late Dr.Olusegun Kokumo Agagu, describing him as the unique, God sent Ondo State Chief Executive who opened up Ilaje land to smooth, spic and span road network that stands out till tomorrow as evergreen legacy to his memory.

Baba Naiyeju popularly known in Accounting circle across Nigeria and beyond as the Head of J.K.Consulting gave this indication of his respect for Dr.Agagu during a scheduled courtesy visit to his Abuja residence by Ondo South Senator, Distinguished Senator Prof.Dayo Faduyile.

Senator Faduyile on Friday noon, August 14th, 2026, had visited the respected Ondo State Stakeholder in the course of his familiarization outreach to major Ondo South stakeholders in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Dr.Naiyeju while welcoming Senator Faduyile noted that Ondo South has produced a lorry load of State wide and national leaders who have contributed a great deal to the development of the area, stressing that the district is blessed with men and women of admirable leadership quality.

He said Dr.Agagu who was his personal friend earned his respect for his road expansion vision and his ‘Road Map to Progress” Agenda part of which had contributed to how the coastal Ilaje communities of Ondo South became opened to smooth and motorable roads, noting that Gov.Agagu’s road projects which connected Ilaje to Lagos and Ikale route stand to test of project execution according to global standards.

“I could recall when we were brainstorming over the idea of overhead bridge linking Ilu Agbo to Irele from Idepe; he had a structural opinion of constructing an overhead bridge linking Irele from Araromi Aiyeka…superb projects and not only in Ondo South but across the state. He showed his worth as the Geologist as a State Governor,” Dr.Naiyeju emphasized.

He encouraged Senator Faduyile to keep an open door and factor constructive opinion of his constituents , while wishing him a successful tenure in office.

Distinguished Senator Faduyile thanked Dr.Naiyeju for his warm audience while noting that with the support of everyone, a lot of positive strides are still achievable within the timeline available for him at the Red Chamber.
