Olabode Omoyele raises concern over Oyo kidnapped victims, prays for their safe return

A stakeholder of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Mr. Olabode Omoyele has expressed concern over the fate of the kidnapped students and teachers of Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State. The victims have been with the bandits in some unknown places going to 16 days now while pictures of violent experiences they are subjected to have been going viral in the social media.

In the new month Message of Mr. Olabode Omoyele which was obtained by news men, he called for adequate security across schools in the country, as he noted that the bandits have developed a pattern of making vulnerable students and harmless teachers their soft targets. He said security has become a collective effort now, noting that the nation has adequate paramilitary agencies which services can be deployed across schools.

“My heart goes out to the pupils, who to all intent and purpose are minors who do not deserve the untold hardship they are being subjected to in the hand of their captors. Seeing the violent visuals of torture these young ones are subjected to calls to question the kind of reasoning of their captors. It is unheard of that any normal human being can treat a fellow human in such manners no matter their hatred for their fellow humans.

“The way these bandits have de marketed the Nigeria brand calls for a serious concern and across the states of the South West, efforts should be made to put into good use the South West Security network. We implore the sub national governments of the South West to strengthen the region based security network as they are more effective in the area of local policing since they know their areas better,” Olabode said.

He noted that all the good people of Nigeria should pray steadfastly for the safe return of the abducted pupils of Oriire and their teachers, while regretting the brutal killing of one of the kidnapped teachers , Mr.Oyedokun in the hand of the bandits.

Olabode Omoyele in his new month message wish Nigerians well and implored all to be very vigilant and security conscious, tasking everyone to be prompt in reporting any strange faces or development in their area to the security agency.
