Ondo State Chief Judge pays Awawa Radio station a courtesy visit.

Awawa Radio station in Ayeka, Ondo South Senatorial District, which runs on the dial of Awawa 94.1 FM played host to august visitors from the revered Ondo State Judiciary on Thursday, the 17th July, 2021.

The Chief Judge of Ondo State , Her Lordship, Justice Oluwatoyin Olarewaju Akeredolu in company with some senior members of the Bench in the state paid an unscheduled visit to the radio station reckoned to be a very strong medium of information dissemination within Ondo South Senatorial District and beyond.

Also in the company of the eminent jurists was the Chief Executive Officer and Proprietress of the Radio station, the Regent of Ayeka Kingdom, HRH. Princess Barr. Oluyemi Bajowa.

The leadership of Ondo State Judiciary had earlier attended the official handing over of the newly built Ondo State High Court Okitipupa , a brain child of Ikale Rehabilitation Committee headed by the Chairman of Awawa Radio station, Gen. Olu Bajowa ( RTD).

The High Court was handed over to the state Chief Judge , Justice Akeredolu, who handed over the keys to the Judiciary workers in Okitipupa High Court Division, after pronouncing it opened for judicial activities.

Her Royal Majesty, Oluyemi Bajowa conducted Justice Akeredolu and the other Judges round the Radio House , the live studio, recording studio among other facilities.

While speaking in the course of the courtesy visit, Her Lordship, Justice Oluwatoyin Akeredolu congratulated Gen. Bajowa and the Regent of Ayeka for showing such a deep rooted passion for the growth of the grassroots, noting that if others who are financially endowed take a cue from the kind gesture of the owners of the station, the grassroots in Ondo State will be the better for it.

Justice Akeredolu described the media as a tool for development and expressed delight in the fact that with the huge presence of Awawa Radio station in Ondo South, the Communities in the district will be out of obscurity.

The host, Regent Bajowa thanked Justice Akeredolu and the other Judges for sparing time out of their tight schedule to identify with Awawa 94. 1 Fm.

Among the eminent personalities at the station were Justice Oluwatoyin Akeredolu, Chief Justice of Ondo State, HRH. Princess Barr. Oluyemi Bajowa, the Regent of Ayeka Kingdom, Justice Odusola, Justice Peter Ikujuni, Justice Ademola Enikuemehin , Princess Loto and top management personnel of the Radio station.
