Tinubu approves appointment of Alake, Ribadu, 6 others as Special Advisers

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT) on Thursday approved the appointment of Dele Alake, Nuhu Ribadu and six others as Special Advisers.
Their appointment was announced in a statement signed by director of information, state house, Abiodun Oladunjoye.
The tweet revealed that Tinubu has appointed Alake as his special adviser on special duties, communications and strategy.
Former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ribadu was named special adviser on security while Wale Edun was appointed special adviser, monetary policies.
The other Special Advisers are Political and Intergovernmental Affairs, Yau Darazo; Revenue, Zachaeus Adedeji; Industry, Trade and Investment, John Ugochukwu Uwajumogu; Energy, Olu Verheijen and Health, Salma Ibrahim Anas.
In total, the president appointed eight persons as special advisers.
