Prof.Dayo Faduyile salutes Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, vows to sustain legacy

The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council, Federal University of Education Kontagora, (FUEK), Prof. Francis Adedayo Faduyile, OON, has congratulated Ondo South Senator, Distinguished Senator Jimoh Ibrahim,CFR (PhD Cantab) on his deserving elevation and appointment as an Ambassador by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
It will be recalled that President Bola Tinubu appointed 62 career and non career Ambassadors in early December who were screened by the upper chamber of The National Assembly. Of the 62 Ambassador Designates, the only one appointed from The National Assembly is Senator Jimoh Ibrahim representing Ondo South Senatorial District.
Prof. Faduyile in an official congratulatory statement obtained by thepolity. net said Distinguished Senator Jimoh Ibrahim has put up quality representation in The Senate and his constituents across Ondo South are proud of his enviable showing on the floor of The Red Chamber.
He said in a long time in the history of the District, an orator with very brilliant disposition was sent to the Senate in the person of Distinguished Senator Jimoh Ibrahim and each of his projections on the floor of The Senate has made his constituents proud and fulfilled.
Prof.Faduyile noted that Dr.Jimoh Ibrahim is a Parliamentarian of high caliber and a proud son of Ikale who is worthy of being preferred to represent his District in The Senate and who is more than qualified for his new calling and appointment as a Nigerian Ambassador overseas.
While stressing that his culture of being a well read personality is enviable , Prof. Faduyile saluted President Bola Tinubu for his resolve to tap into Senator Ibrahim’s global experience and his exposure as PhD holder in Modern War Studies, adding that he has no doubt that Distinguished Senator Jimoh Ibrahim will make Ikale land, Ondo State and Nigeria Proud in his Diplomatic Posting abroad.
The former National President, Nigeria Medical Association, NMA, said the opening that will be created by Senator Ibrahim’s exit from The Red Chamber to the Diplomatic world will be a great shoe that should be filled by no less a cerebral politician with no less an academic attainment other than one who can follow the academically sound strides of the Doctor of War Studies and the first ever Doctor of Business whom the Senate President has always described as ‘Prof Jimoh Ibrahim.’
Faduyile added that based on his own eminent qualification as a Professor of Pathology and Forensic Medicine, who has held sensitive Medical Administrative responsibilities in Ondo State where he first started Medical Practice, Lagos State and Nigeria and based on his unwavering commitments to the All Progressives Congress, APC, a party he has been committed to as a Progressive and as well as the fact that he is from the same Constituency with Distinguished Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, under Okitipupa Local Govt, he feels the sense of political responsibility to vie for the Ondo South Senate ticket in the coming by election after the Distinguished Occupier of the Seat must have officially embarked on a stellar Diplomatic Posting abroad by early 2026.
He noted that while he has been committed to consolidating on wide consultation on the Senatorial aspiration , he finds himself more suitable to hold a touch to the prominently cerebral Dr. Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR, expressing confidence that he will dutifully and humbly continue the giant strides of Senator Ibrahim as well as maintain mutual consultation with the Senator who has put Ondo South on a high scale of national Prominence in The National Assembly.
