The Ogbomoso born strong man politician and former Governor of Oyo State, Chief Christopher Alao Akala is dead.
Alao Akala was the PDP Governor who succeeded Chief Rashid Ladoja. He enjoyed a warm godfather/godson son relationship with the late strong man of Ibadan politics, Chief Adedibu of the famed ‘Amala politics . ‘
At the time of filing in this report, the cause of his demise still remains sketchy .
