DIG in charge of Abba Kyari’s investigation is dead.

Deputy Inspector General of Police , Force Criminal Investigation Department ( FCID) , Joseph Ehbunike is dead.

DIG Egbunike is an indigiene of Onitsha in Anambra State.

The senior cop was said to have slumped while still working in his office in Abuja and died eventually in active service.
Joseph Egbunike was handed the beat of interrogating the suspended Head of The Police Intelligence Response Team, Abba Kyari over money laundering allegations until recently when the suspended top cop was accused of drugs dealing .

The Deputy Inspector General of Police’ death has come as a rude shock and as at the time of filing in this report more details are yet to be gathered as well as Police management ‘s reaction.
