Boko Haram commander surrenders to Nigerian security forces in Borno

Two senior members of the Jam’at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da’wah wa’l-Jihd, also known as Boko Haram, in Borno, Khaid Malam Ali and his subordinate, Bunu Umar, have surrendered to the Nigerian military’s Operation Hadin Kai troops.

It was gathered that the Islamic State of West African Province, ISWAP, terrorists dislodged Ali and his fighters after they coordinated a raid at the hideouts of Boko Haram in Bula Alhaji Garwaye in the fringes of Sambisa forest Near Bama LGA on July 5, 2023.

DAILY POST reported how ISWAP killed scores of Boko Haram fighters, including their women and children.

Ali was a Commander of the terrorists in Sabil Huda and Njumia before laying down his arms due to the fear of battlefield elimination.

He and his fighters were reportedly driven from their positions by ISWAP after they planned a raid on the Boko Haram hideouts in Bula Alhaji Garwaye in the fingers of Sambisa Near Bama LGA on July 5, 2023.

According to reports, several Boko Haram fighters, including their wives and children, were killed.
