Dayo Faduyile preaches peace , self sacrifice at Sallah.

– Steve Ovirih.

Prof. Francis Adedayo Faduyile, the Special Adviser to Ondo State Government on Health Matters , has congratulated Muslims all over Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eid el Kabir festivity.

The Prince of Abodi of Ikale in his felicitation with the Muslim faithful charged them to sustain the teaching of Prophet Mohammed on self sacrifice even as he noted that the whole essence of the Eid Aldah celebration is hinged on the teaching of self sacrifice as espoused by the faith based relationship between Prophet Ibrahim and Ishmael , his only beloved son.

Prof . Faduyile said the festival is a strong reminder of how Allah, the most benevolent reached out to replace the sacrifice of Ishmael with that of the ram as this has showcased Allah’s divine provision for mankind.

He noted that beyond the excitement of the celebration , Muslim faithful should imbibe the virtue of giving, adding that there are lot of people in the society who are less privileged and who can be made to benefit from the largess of the rich at the Sallah period and beyond.

Prof. Faduyile called on the people of Ondo State to continue to support the Government of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu as the Governor has made his resolve known that the security of the people of the state is his utmost priority.

Faduyile also called on the people to imbibe the ideal of living in peace , noting that nothing good can be achieved in the absence of peace and love.

According to the statement the Special Adviser on Health personally signed and made available to thepolity. net , he admonished the Muslim faith ful to be moderate in their celebration of the Eid El Kabir celebration.
