Deji is new Chair , Ondo Council of Obas

Ondo first class Royal Father and the Deji of Akure, His Royal Majesty, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi has been appointed as the new Chairman, Ondo State Council of Obas.

Oba Aladelusi’s appointment came on the heels of the expiration of the 2 year single term tenure of the erstwhile Chairman of the council, His Imperial Majesty, the Olugbo of Ugbo Kingdom, Oba (Dr.) Frederick Enitiolorunda Akinruntan.

While announcing the appointment of the new Council Chairman of Ondo State Council of Obas, the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, thanked the immediate past Chair of the Council, Oba Akinruntan for the experience he brought to bear on the council and the peace enjoyed in the respective Obas’ domains during his tenure. Gov. Akeredolu congratulated the Deji of Akure on his appointment and charged him to continue the good work his predecessor has started , appealing to his royal father counterparts to give him all the necessary support.
