Faduyile mourns Akintelure, suspends Campaign in his honour.

Prof. Dayo Faduyile, OON, Gubernatorial aspirant of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ondo State has expressed shock and regret over the news of the death of Co- Aspirant, Dr. Paul Akintelure.
Thepolity.net reports that the news of Dr. Akintelure’s demise breezed in early Tuesday morning, causing a wave of shock in the Ondo State polity. Dr. Akintelure was an active All Progressives Congress stalwart, who became Deputy Governorship candidate for Late Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu during the first Governorship attempt of the latter. The Grapevine in the past few weeks had bandied narrative about a strong tie between the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria and the deceased.
In a short and terse statement credited to the Ikoya born Prof. Faduyile, the former NMA President said he was shocked beyond words over the sad development: ” I am writing to express my heartfelt condolences over the death of Dr. Paul Akintelure. The Igbotako born medical expert and politician was a strong party man and a man who had quite enviable strength of character.
” Death diminishes humanity and this one is no doubt a sad one , particularly as it had come at a time when Ondo State needed the likes of Dr. Akintelure for their input and sound advice.
” My prayer to God is that the family he left behind will have the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
In the concluding official release which Prof. Faduyile personally endorsed, he announced the suspension of his campaign activities both online and offline for 24 hours in honour of his brother and co- contestant, Dr. Akintelure, who has joined the Saint Triumphant.
