Gen. Olu Bajowa (RTD), Officer of The Federal Republic (OFR) and Jagunmolu of Ikaleland has written to congratulate Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu and his Deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa on the impressive inauguration for a second term in office as the Executive Governor.

In the congratulatory message which was made available to thepolity.net , the Ojagbulegun From The Source noted that the support Governor Akeredolu got from the people of Ondo State during the electioneering campaign and his eventual victory at the poll was an endorsement of the success and fulfilment of the first term ‘ REDEMPTION AGENDA’ of Gov. Akeredolu to transform the Sunshine State to a new State.

” I am confident in your purposeful leadership to the people of Ondo State and your pledge that your administration shall not depart from the redemptive and restoration path by ensuring the actualisation of your second term’s REDEEMED AGENDA.

“Also it is pleasing to note that Government has now realised that the neglected Ondo South Senatorial District (Oluwa Zone), where there has been no electricity for over a decade, is the economic under- belly of Ondo State.

” However, the promise in your second coming to reactivate the moribund Okitipupa Oil Palm industry , Oluwa Glass Factory, Igbokoda Fishery, the exploration and exploitation of Bitumen, crude oil and kaolin in the region and the development of Deepsea Port at Ilaje are most reassuring,” Gen. Bajowa stressed.

Gen Bajowa assured Gov. Akeredolu of his availability to assist and offer advice and support for the upliftment of the people of Ondo State, particularly in the field of security which is Gen. Bajowa’s constituency. “I do assure you of my availability now and always to assist and offer advice and support for the upliftment of our people as may be necessary , particularly in the field of security which is my constituency as a retired military personnel.

“Ondo State is replete with courageous veterans that can complement ‘Amotekun’ in flushing out criminals from our forests , including provision of Community information and intelligence for the security services ,” the elderstateman added.

While praying God to continue to guide and protect Governor Akeredolu, Gen. Bajowa wished him the strength and wisdom for a successful tenure.
