Hon Abayomi Sheba expresses confidence in Aketi’s second term bid.

Hon Abayomi Sheba, immediate past Chairman, Federal Character Commission (FCC), has expressed confidence in the gubernatorial victory of Gov. Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu come Oct 10 , 2020.

Hon Sheba who spoke with thepolity.net at the Dome, venue of the All Progressives Congress governorship primary on July 20th while the election by APC party delegates was on going, said as a party leader, he has already started seeing beyond the primary election. When asked who he thought would win the Primaries, Sheba said it is Crystal clear that Gov. Akeredolu will win the other contestants with a wide margin. ( Gov Akeredolu was declared winner of the election with 2458 votes.)

The Irele born politician and APC stalwart advised the other contestants to ensure they don’t break away from the party after the primary, stressing that the party will appreciate their gesture of being good losers and at the same time strong party men.
Hon Sheba assured that the votes of his people from Irele are goin in bulk for the incumbent Governor.

When thepolity asked Hon Sheba of the next political step for him, the amiable politician , smiling, said once the Governor’s victory is announced and celebrated , he will get back to this reporter. He however congratulated all the delegates for their good conduct at the venue of the APC primary election. He said those who stepped down for Gov. Akeredolu few hours to the Primary have shown confidence and exemplary conviction in the high level of performance of the Governor Akeredolu’s administration, stressing that all party men should encourage Akeredolu with another term in office.
