Lagos approves 30% basic salary as bonus for Workers.

Lagos State Government has rolled out a special emolument package as end of the year bonus for Workers in the employ of Lagos State Government as well as political appointees in the state. The end of the year package will see to workers going home with 30% of their basic salary as their Christmas bonus as well as their December salary which will be paid as a ” non taxable element” this December. This bumper package is given to the workers in the fulfilment of the present administration of His Excellency , Gov. Sanwoolu’s commitment to workers welfare and continuous benevolence to appreciate the contribution of all Lagos State public servants in the accomplishment of all set goals and vision of Lagos State.

In a statement signed by Lagos State Head of Service, Hakeem Muri- Okunola, the Government of Lagos is appreciative of the commitment of the Lagos workforce to accomplishing some of the major strides in the public service and looks forward to a more mutual working relationship between the workers and Government. The statement noted that Government is aware of the need for a mutual working relationship between the workers and the state government so that much more accomplishment can be achieved in the new year.

Governor Babajide Sanwoolu wished the workers a merry Christmas and a prosperous new year in advance.
