Melaye drags Wike, says he is not proud of him.

Kogi State gubernatorial candidate on the flagship of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and former Kogi Senator, Dina Melaye has described the immediate past Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike as unfit to get his admiration, noting that as a PDP stakeholder, he is not in anyway proud of the Rivers political juggernaut and South South PDP strongman.
Senator Melaye, a staunch Atiku backer , on his verified facebook page thundered, ” I am not proud of him as a Governor! He lacks dress sense and doesn’t know what time is globally. ”
Continuing, Dino Melaye known for his short YouTube shots , a medium he uses to pass terse comments in the polity says, ” Wike lacks dress sense ; he wears yellow on green , blue on yellow and purple, dressing based on his whims and not following logical fashion dictates.”
” I am a town boy who knows the trend ; I know what’s going on in the society and I have got something upstairs,” Melaye boasted in the short video clip that has since gone viral.
The Kogi born avid supporter of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, PDP Presidential candidate, it will be recalled was described as entertainer by INEC lawyer in the ongoing Presidential election hearing in Abuja, a claim he described as ugly and irresponsible.
The Presidential Election held in Nigeria on the 25th of February, 2023 had cracked the ranks of PDP as then Rivers Governor leading the G5 openly worked against the candidacy of the party’s Presidential flag bearer Atiku Abubakar over some unresolved internal wrangling fingered as a major reason Atiku lost at the polls. Nyesom Wike did not hide his flirtatious flings with APC and its then Presidential candidate now Nigerian President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. News has it that Wike had met with the President twice after he was sworn in on May 29th and expectations are high that Wike may book a juicy appointment as a member of the Tinubu’s yet to be unveiled cabinet barring a change of plan.
While attempts are in top gear to suspend Nyesom Wike from PDP, the fact cannot be erased that he singlehandedly made Simialayi Fubara Governor of Rivers State while ensuring the victory of all the three PDP Senators from Rivers State as well as the members House Reps and The state Assembly. Ironically, the same Wike has been seen romancing the APC led federal government in broad daylight.
Dino Melaye who obviously cannot stand the guts of the Rivers PDP strong man and now ‘ turn coat ‘ Bola Tinubu apologist said there is no way he can ever be proud of former Governor Wike, dragging him over his alleged ” color riot ” dress sense which he obviously implied made Wike to be a man who doesn’t have the street credibility required to make him the kind of ‘ messianic champion ‘ he so much long for, ” I am unlike him , a town boy and I have something upstairs” Melaye thundered.
