NDDC appointment: Faduyile hails appointment of Abegunde, Atikase.

Prof. Adedayo Francis Faduyile, OON, the Special Adviser on Health, Ondo State has hailed the appointment of two notable Ondo State indigines into the board of Niger Delta Development Commission ( NDDC) by President Bola Tinubu.
The appointment of the two All Progressives Congress , APC members , Ifedayo Abgeunde ( Abena) and Otito Atikase were announced on separate days last week by the Presidency in statements credited to the President and made available to the Press by Presidential Spkosperson Mr. Ajuri Ngelale.
Chief Ifedayo Abegunde, former Secretary to Ondo State Government was nominated and appointed as Executive Director , Operations while Hon. Otito Atikase, former Member House of Assembly was in a role swap appointed as Ondo State Representative on The NDDC Board after protest had followed the intial appointment of Hon. Victor Akinjo by the Presidency and within 24 hours of the appointment, it was reversed with Victor Akinjo dropped for Otito Atikase.
Prof. Faduyile in a statement he personally signed , which was obtained by thepolity.net, while congratulating the appointees, emphasized the fact that Chief Abegunde and Hon. Otito Atikase are two worthy APC actors in Ondo State whose new appointments are well deserving. He noted that Chief Ifedayo Abegunde has rich political antecedents and exposure that will stand him in a good stead as NDDC’s Executive Director, while stressing the fact that Hon. Otito Atikase will no doubt be a unifying force for Ilaje nation as Commissinoer representing the interest of Ondo State on the board.
Prof. Faduyile also appreciated President Bola Tinubu for giving listening ears to the prayers of the people of Ondo state, nay the entire APC structure from Ilaje nation.
Prof. Faduyile charged the new appointees to key into the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu and do all withing their powers to put smiles on the faces of the people of the oil producing mandate areas of Ondo State, adding that the entire Ilaje nation and all the Development – inclined people of The Sunshine State will count on their ability to deliver.
