It will be recalled that President Tinubu announced the new board of NDDC on Tuesday and Hon. Victor Kolade Akinjo was made to represent Ondo State on the board.

Akinjo is actually a good individual, a worthy candidate for the job and he has his records there as a performer who is very sound and has commitment.,” Pharm. Olowolayemo said.

In his own view, Mr. Sola Emuleomo from Mahin Ward 4 said the news of Akinjo’s appointment is a very good development for Ilaje Nation, adding that there is no gainsaying the fact that having perforned in his last tour of duty, he has the wherewithal to contribute more to Ilaje as NDDC Rep from Ondo State. Emuleomo said Akinjo’s appointment is a non-partisan one reflecting a pan Ilaje choice.

While expressing her view, APC woman stakeholder representing Ilaje women, Mrs Lucy Ojajuni noted that Ilaje women are in support of Tinubu’s appointment of Victor Akinjo. ” We are very happy for this development. We cant thank President Bola Tinubu enough for giving our son Akinjo the NDDC job; he is fit and capable and he will deliver as he had delivered in the time past. We want to tell the whole world that Akinjo has the support of all Ilaje people and all Ese-Odo people on this appointment. He did not disappoint us in the time past and he will not disappoint us with the NDDC representative job given him by our President.”

Rt. Hon. Femi Akinlo saluted President Tinubu for remembering a bonafide Ilaje son on the NDDC Board, noting that Akinjo from Mahin Ward 4, Itebu Kunmi is a round peg in a round hole.

“Having considered the choice of Akinjo to serve on the NDDC Board, we chose to embark on this solidarity walk to associate with Kolade Akinjo and to appreciate our President for being responsive to the prayers of our people to have our own son represent us because it is only your own blood that can Marshall your demands appropriately,” Akinlo added.
