The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has clarified that it has no plan to increase the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as fuel or petrol.

Following fears that the pump price of PMS might increase, the management of NNPCL made this clarification through a statement on X (formerly Twitter).

The company has also urged Nigerians to continue buying fuel at the most affordable price.

In another development, on the sidelines of activities at the ongoing ADIPEC Exhibition and Conference, NNPCL expressed its readiness to chart a sustainable energy future, declaring before the global stage that it is ready for business.

The company’s Executive Vice President, Upstream, Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan, made this known while speaking with energy specialist and conference moderator, Eithne Treanor, during a fireside chat.
