Oba George Babatunde Faduyile, Abodi of Ikale climbs up the Octogenarian ladder.

Prominent Yoruba monarch and first class Ondo State Royal father, His Imperial Majesty, Oba George Babatunde Faduyile celebrates his birthday today, 3rd March. Understandably, all road will lead to Ikoya, cradle of Ikale land as the revered monarch celebrates another year of God’s loving kindness.
Oba Babatunde Faduyile stands tall as a sage whose reign has continued to enjoy peace and outstanding tranquility. Known for his firmness on matters of Principle even in his measured soft spoken mien, the affable octogenarian is known for siding on the side of morality and social justice on all matters brought before his Royal Court and for this reason his alternative conflict resolution approach is a model that remains unassailable.
Having risen through the ranks in his career as a foremost teacher across secondary schools in the old Okitipupa Division to become a leading School Administrator and Principal, he provided guidance and leadership to countless numbers of students whom today have become bright light of their respective career.
The story was told of a set of a leading secondary school in Okitipupa who visited the palace on a courtesy call to their ‘Principal’; the ‘boys’ who are now top notch men across discipline both in Nigeria and The Diaspora recalled fond memories of ‘a no-nonsense’ Principal who would mete out equal measure of discipline to all the students not sparing his own wards. The leadership he provided, the stern rebuke for their youthful misdemeanor of school years and the stern charge for them to take their studies seriously as well as the classroom management , according to ‘the old boys and girls’ had become the foundation of their success story in life.
Such is the testimony of how Abodi of Ikale has touched life of the young ones as a school administrator.
