The distinguished Edo Monarch and reverred Oba Of Benin, Oba Ewuare II has visited the Aso Rock seat of Power in Abuja alongside the Benin Council of Chiefs.

The Edo State Monarch rarely makes such scheduled travel outside the palace, hence this visit was a high wired Benin Kingdom delegation to the Presidency as led by the Monarch himself.

The distinguished royal visitor from the historically rich Benin Kingdom was welcomed by staff in the Presidency and was joined at the Banquet hall of the Presidential Villa by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who showed appreciation for the monarch’s thoughtful visit.

The President solicited the support of Oba Ewuare II and that of other royal fathers across Nigeria.

While fiedling questions from newsmen after the closed door session with President Tinubu, Oba Ewuare noted that he has come to congratulate the President and to offer him frank pieces of advice as well as to pray for his success, noting that Nigeria is a country that is yearning for the leadership of a President with a strong political will .

The Royal father said the President needs the support of all well meaning Nigerians and everyone who means well for Nigeria. He added that he has assured President Tinubu of his support and he has no doubt that the monarchical structure in Nigeria will likewise support him.

” The President has started by hitting the ground running and the result is showing. The Royal fathers in Nigeria will support him and I have personally assured him of my support,” the revered Edo Monarch stated.
