Olabode Omoyele congratulates Olusegun Agagu Foundation for sustainable educational services
An Igbotako born, Lagos based Real Estate Mogul, Mr.Olabode Omoyele has described the academic support offered students of Ondo South by Olusegun Agagu Foundation (OAF) as a major boost to empowerment of the people of the district, congratulating the Foundation for sustaining the scheme for 12 unbroken years.
Olabode who gave this reaction in an exclusive chat with newsmen noted that the Foundation has kept alive in a more polished way the legacy of a giant academic, a reputable Geologist and an impactful Political Administrator who bestrode Ondo State like a Colossus. He said the Government of Olusegun Agagu gifted Ondo State legacy projects that will be referenced in years to come.
“The Foundation has continued to take care of one of the soft spots of Gov.Agagu which is providing quality education for the people. Under Gov.Agagu’s watch Ondo SUBEB embarked on massive provision of infrastructure in terms of blocks of classrooms across Ondo State and the vigour with which these facilities were constructed pointed to one thing: the commitment of a Governor who understood the need for a conducive teaching and learning environment.
“When I read in the news that not less than 60 graduates have been produced by Olusegun Agagu Foundation, OAF with a good number of them graduating with First Class, I can’t help but pray that God gift Ondo State another leader in the mould of Late Dr.Olusegun Kokumo Agagu,” Olabode stated.
He saluted the courage of his Amiable wife, Yeye Olufunke Agagu and his children for throwing their weight behind the lofty idea of the Foundation, adding that in the heart of those who have benefitted and just benefitting from the scholarships offered by the Foundation and of course in the heart of all the good people of Ondo who value good governance, Late Governor Olusegun Agagu lives on.
