Olabode Omoyele hails Government’s recapitalisation effort
Prominent Ondo South All Progressives Congress, APC stakeholder, Mr. Olabode Omoyele has described the recapitalisation effort of The Central Bank of Nigeria as commendable and proactive measure geared towards facilitating visible transformation of the apex bank as well as the nation’s economy.
Olabode gave this indication in the course of a chat with newsmen, expressing satisfaction with the reforms coming from the apex bank.
He noted that the reforms championed by the Yemi Cardoso led management of CBN is a huge plus for the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whom he described as a President who takes his time to put in sensitive positions polished technocrats who understand the importance of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
He noted that the CBN policies particularly on recapitalisation will consolidate on the plans for the long term growth of the nation’s economy while offering Nigerians Bank with strong financial capability and proficiency in tandem with global banking standard and practices.
He noted that there is a force of commitment and focus in the bank recapitalisation deadline issued to Commercial Banks from the Apex bank which is geared towards gifting Nigerians, banks that have gone through viable consolidation.
He commended CBN reforms such as the bank recapitalisation, financial regulations, changes in foreign exchange system, noting that all these are firm regulations which will further strengthen investor confidence and improve Direct Foreign Investment(DFI).
Olabode said the macroeconomic policies of President Tinubu has been put into workable and working template through the reforms projected by the CBN, adding that the outcome will make for a sustainable economic growth of Nigeria. He therefore called on Nigerians to prepare themselves for the large stake benefits of these reforms as in no time at all, the improvement will begin to reflect on the economy, charging Nigerians to align with the continuity of President Bola Tinubu’s term in office.
