Ondo Guber: lt’s time to choose between hunger, prosperity, PDP, candidate, Ajayi

Governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, in Ondo state, Chief Agboola Ajayi, has asked the people of the state ahead of the November 16 election, to choose between hunger associated with the the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) or the Prosperity associated with the Peoples Democratic Party.

Ajayi, said this in the Idanre council area of the state, after the inauguration of a 400-member campaign committee for the party.

He said the ruling APC had subjected citizens to hardship and is weaponizing poverty for selfish purposes.

The Governorship candidate said the hardship in the country had caused untold hardship, and people should protest with their votes in the November 16 governorship election in the state.

Ajayi, who was a former deputy governor in the state, appreciated the residents and party leaders for the rousing welcome, and urged them to ensure that they deliver for the party come the November 16th governorship election.

The residents had trooped out in large numbers to welcome the PDP candidate and his entourage into the ancient city during the inauguration of the campaign committee affirmed that the chances of the PDP in winning the forthcoming governorship election are improving daily with the choice of Hon. Festus Akingbaso as the deputy governorship candidate.

Speaking on behalf of the people, Idanre PDP local government chairman, Hon Adekunle Akinlalu, said that the November 16th governorship election is about the people of Idanre.

The party’s council chairman added that ” We will show our appreciation through our vote come the November 16th governorship election. We will not disappoint you. We are loyal people in danger.

While inaugurating the Local Government Campaign Council, the chairman of the PDP Campaign Council in the state, Olorogun Eddy Olafeso, urged the committee members led by Hon. Romeo Adesuyi to work assiduously to ensure that they deliver the local government for PDP.

Olafeso said, ” I can see all your faces now. Your faces are shining. You are not among those that are suffering. Those in APC are the ones suffering.

He appreciated them for their love shown unto the candidate and the party leaders in the town.

Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Governorship governorship candidate and a member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Festus Akingbaso, urged the people to eschew any forms of violence before, during, and after the election.

Akingbaso, a member representing the Idanre/Ifedore federal constituency in the National Assembly, said “APC is threatening us that we are not as financially buoyant as them. but we have God. When they give you money, take their money and vote for PDP.
