Ondo South Senate ticket: Amb.Sola Iji expresses interest .

Immediate past Nigerian Ambassador to the Republic of Togo, Amb. Sola Iji, the Igbobini born technocrat and politician has announced his interest in contesting for the Senate seat of his Senatorial District, Ondo South , come 2023 General election.
Amb. Sola Iji , it would be recalled contested the Ondo Guber primaries of the All Progressives Congress ( APC) and was the former Chairman of the Action Congress ( AC) in Ondo State.
Iji while announcing his political interest in the Senate ticket of Ondo South said he wants to bring his administrative and political experience to bear in his bid to help the people of his district out of poverty and lack which have become obvious , stressing that his major objective is to improve the lot of the people of Ondo South Senatorial District with quality legislation and attract government presence to the district.
Amb. Iji also announced Chief Wole Iroaye as the Director General of his Campaign Council. Chief Iroaye is a Federal Commissioner , National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission (NSIWC), Abuja.
Chief Iroaye in a telephone chat with thepolity. net said Amb. Iji has all it takes to become the APC Senatorial Candidate for Ondo South and he is well equiped to represent the district in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Iroaye promised to bring his wealth of experience to play as the DG of Sola Iji Campaing Council. He added that Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) who is the leader of the party in the stateĀ has assured that in none of the elective positions does he have an anointed or preferred candidate.
Iroaye stressed the need for the people of Ondo South Senatorial District to allow an experienced grassroots politician to represent them at the upper chamber of the National Assembly in 2023.
