Ondo SSG visits Awawa FM Radio, commends Gen Bajowa, wife , Regent Oluyemi Bajowa for attracting development to Ikaleland.

Secretary to Ondo State Government , Princess Barr. Oladunni Odu has commended the Chairman of Awawa Communications LTD, owners of Awawa 94.1 FM Radio, Ayeka, Prince Dr (Gen) Olu Bajowa , RTD and the Chief Executive Officer of Awawa FM, who is equally the Regent of Ayeka kingdom, HRM Princess Barr. Oluyemi Bajowa for establishing a standard Radio Station in Ikaleland.
Princess Odu dropped this commendation yesterday, July 28th when she paid a courtesy visit to the radio station located in Ode Ayeka, having attended the Security Summit convened by the Management of Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa.
She was also a guest on a live interview session at the station, where she congratulated Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu , SAN over his victory at the Supreme Court in the election petition challenging his October 2020 victory by PDP’s Eyitayo Jegede, SAN.

The first female Secretary to Ondo State Government noted in the course of the interview that All Progressives Congress (APC) is grateful to God over the Supreme Court ruling affirming Gov. Akeredolu as the duly elected Governor of Ondo State, adding that the Akeredolu led APC Government of Ondo State will not disappoint the trust reposed in it by the good people of Ondo State.
Princess Odu said the Jagunmolu of Ikaleland and Ojagbulegun from the Source has contributed a great deal to the development of Nigeria and it feels good that even as a senior citizen the General is very passionate about the development of Ikale nation, stressing that this is evident in the establishment of Awawa FM which has become the air rave in Ondo South Senatorial District and far beyond its area of mandate in just less than a year of its establishment.
She congratulated the Regent of Ayeka kingdom Princess Oluyemi Bajowa for providing leadership in Ayeka and for the quality management of the media outfit as the Chief Executive Officer.
Princess Odu advised the management of the Radio Station to allow information dissemination to flow down to the grassroots in the Senatorial district as Community reporting on the radio station should complement Social media particularly for those in the hinterland who still have preference to listening to news and Programmes on radio station.
She saluted the magnanimity of Gen. Bajowa and his wife, HRM Oluyemi Bajowa for not minding the huge cost of bringing such a capital intensive project to Ikale, maintaining that the Radio Station has generously given Ikale nation a worthy mention and national reckoning.
The Regent of Ibulesoro in Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State, HRM MoyinOluwa Faloro, who is an alumnus of Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) accompanied the SSG on her visit to Awawa Radio House, Ayeka.
While expressing her view on air, the Regent of Ibulesoro charged Oaustech undergraduates to be security conscious at all times as insecurity and criminal tendencies are on alarming increase in the society and the University environment is not an exemption. She however discouraged a resort to jungle justice , appealing to the students of the university not to take laws into their hands as this will give the wrong impression that they are uncivilized people.
While thanking the august visitors for the courtesy call, the Chief Executive Officer of the Radio Station, HRM Oluyemi Bajowa assured them that the station is setting a broadcasting standard that will be a model for others to emulate.
