The Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi , Ojaja the second has offered a special prayer of the House of Oduduwa on behalf of the Regent of Ayeka, HRH, Barr. Princess Oluyemi Bajowa and her husband, Gen. Olu Bajowa , the Jagunmolu of Ikaleland today at the palace of the Ooni of Ife.
Gen. Bajowa and Regent Oluyemi Bajowa had paid the Oonirisa, Arole Oodua courtesy visit earlier today to thank the first class royal father for honouring Gen. Bajowa’s 80th birthday anniversary and the opening of Awawa 94.1 FM, Ayeka, Okitipupa.
Ooni of Ife thanked the August visitors for deeming it fit to pay him an official visit. He specifically thanked Regent Oluyemi Bajowa for taking good care of Jagunmolu whom he described as a quintessential father of the nation.
While praying for the royal couple, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi called on Eledumare to continue to uphold the town of Ayeka and appealed to God Almighty to continue to strengthen the Regent of Ayeka and bless her with good health in her bid to attract development to Ayeka Kingdom.
Oba Ogunwusi who congratulated the Regent of Ayeka who has just clocked the second year of her Regency advised her to continue with her good work for the town.
Oba Ogunwusi was delighted when the Regent gave her the good news of the positive contribution Awawa 94.1 FM has added to its area of mandate in Ondo South Senatorial District and even beyond.
On the entourage of Gen. Olu Bajowa and Regent Oluyemi Bajowa to the palace of the Ooni of Ife were Prince Babatunde Ayeyowa, the Lisa of Ayeka, Chief Adeolu Ayelomi, the Petu of Ayeka, Prince Adewale Omotayo Idowu and others.
