Vice President Yemi Osinbanjo on Wednesday presided over the Federal Executive Council (Fec) meeting at the Presidential villa, Abuja.
The meeting did not hold last week as it was canceled due to logistics and inability to circulate invitation to cabinet members because of the Easter holiday, claimed Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the President, Malam Garba Shehu.
This week’s FEC session marked the second time Osinbanjo was presiding over the meeting since President Muhammudu Buhari returned to the country from his medical vacation in the United Kingdom.

The funds approved included #3.8 billion for one year leasing of fast growing vessels for the Nigerian Maritime Administration and safety agency NIMASA, #5 billion for upward cost review of construction of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s office building and #38 million for purchase of fifty- six immigration patrol vehicles.
