Osun Guber Poll : APC Chairman loses Local Government to Opposition.

Boluwaduro Local Government Area of Osun State fell into the hand of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party , PDP during the Saturday, July 16th Governorship election in the state.

The State Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC , Prince Gboyega Famodun is from Boluwaduro Local Government. PDP claimed the local government with 5860 votes while APC trailed behind with 5649 votes cast.

Osun State House of Assembly Deputy Speaker, Femi Popoola also hailed from the Local Government.

The Governorship contest was a two horse race between APC and PDP with PDP polling 403,371 votes to win the election while APC had 375,027 votes .
