Prophet T .B Joshua is dead;
Fani Kayode mourns.

– Steve Ovirih.

The report reaching us from Synagogue Church of all Nations, Ikotun , Lagos says the General Overseer of the Church, Prophet Temitope Joshua is dead.

As at the time of filing in this story, cause of death of the famous Akoko born Televangelist is yet to be known.

Further report says the gate of the church is locked as mourners continue to troop in to empathise with the family of the globally known cleric.

Prophet Joshua bestrode the globe like a Colossus discharging the word of God and distributing patronage with the generosity of a man who was in a hurry to touch all the lives he can afford to touch.

The news of his sudden demise filtered in , in the wee hours of Sunday, the 6th June, catching everybody unawares as he was as fit as fiddle yesterday while holding a session with Synagogue TV Media Partners. He was however noted to have said, ” there is time for everything. A time to be in church and a time to return home.” Perhaps this was a subtle indication that the great seer has seen his departure and was laying claim to his exit in a manner most figurative.

Chief Femi Fani Kayode, notable Nigerian politician and social critic had first described the news of Prophet T B Joshua’s death as ‘ fake news’, asking Nigerians through his social Media page to discountenance the unfounded rumor by people who did not mean well for the proactive man of God. However, three hours after his first social media post, he recanted and accepted the sad fact of the death of Pastor Joshua, whom he described as an intimate friend and a revered man of God who said the mystery of God without mincing it.

While mourning the passing of Prophet Joshua, Chief Fani Kayode said on his social media page that his death is a great loss to christiandom and the nation at large.
