PDF thanks Ondo South people for rooting for Gov. Akeredolu.

– Steve Ovirih.

The PDF movement under the leadership of Prince Dayo Faduyile, who doubled as the Deputy Director General (Ondo South) for Gov. Akeredolu campaign Council has expressed his appreciation to all the good people of the Southern senatorial district for their huge vote support which made the reelection of Gov. Akeredolu possible in the Ondo Guber poll.

In a special release through his media aide which was made available to the press, the Deputy Director General of the Akeredolu campaign Council said the mass appeal Gov. Akeredolu enjoyed in the southern senatorial district is a reflection of the trust the people reposed in his administration in the past three and half years, adding that he is very delighted in how people had come out in large numbers on election day.

“In our own part, we moved round, campaigned and appealed to our people not to change a performing team. We made our people to interrogate the government of Akeredolu so far and place it side by side their expectations from any new hand from any of the opposing camp and our people yielded their support for the Akeredolu/ Aiyedatiwa mandate and we had a resounding victory. We are indeed very grateful to all the voters from Ondo South Senatorial district who did not let us down,” Prince Faduyile added.

He further said the Government of the incumbent which has been given a four year renewal of mandate will not disappoint on the promises he has made in the course of the political campaign, noting that dividends of good governance shall cut across the district.

It will be recalled that the PDF movement was the campaign structure through which Prof. Dayo Faduyile aimed to realise his Governorship ambition; a political aspiration which already had its tentacles spread across the 18 Local Government Areas of Ondo State, until he had to let go of his political ambition having taken wise counsel from political juggernauts and national leadership of All Progressives Congress (APC).
