Prince Kunle Ayeku congratulates Faduyile over Senate bid victory

By Steve Ovirih.

United States based Prince Kunle Markson Ayeku has expressed his satisfaction over the Ondo South Senatorial by-election which held on Saturday, June 20th, 2026, describing the outcome as a long awaited aspiration which ‘landed’ at God’s own appointed time.

Ayeku who had an exclusive chat with thepolity.net, from his base in the US, immediately the result was announced by the Returning Officer, Prof. Ibileye, noted that Ondo South is twice lucky. “In the same 10th Senate, Ondo South first produced a Doctoral degree holder who made record as the first Doctor of Business from Harvard alongside other doctoral degrees he has bagged; I am talking of Amb. Jimoh Folorunsho Ibrahim who started this legislative representation of Ondo South and on his elevation, the people of the South voted in another achiever, a Professor of Medicine, Prof.Dayo Faduyile, a Prince and a gentleman. So, the plain truth is that Ondo South is lucky, perhaps because this same South has a Governor whose name ‘Lucky’ is a magic wand working for the district.

” I am very elated …. very very excited because I know Dayo very well and I know how well he has made efforts to achieve very brilliant academic success in life. So, Ondo South has voted well and voted the right person who will make the district proud on the floor of The Red Chamber,” Ayeku said.

Advising the Senator elect, the Prince of Igbodigo kingdom draw his attention to ‘all comer hypocrites’ whom he said are always jumping from one politician to another with self centered agenda and who always hang at the corridor of power with just one motive: driving their personal agenda.

He said like all elective officers, history has held its pen at the ready to begin to record his activities, urging him to let history enter his Legislative tenure in the positive. ” As my brother and my fellow Ikale man, I will continue to pray for your success because your success will stir your constituents and galvanize them to see in you a leader that can be referenced at all times,”Ayeku added.

While congratulating Prof. Faduyile, whom he described as someone who has seen the grace of God and that of men, Prince Ayeku wished him success in his brand new legislative tour of duty.
