Prioritize Communal Progress over personal pursuits, Hon. Chris Ayebusiwa Charges constituents.

The Member Representing Okitipupa State Constituency 1 in Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Christopher Odunayo Ayebusiwa has congratulated the people of his Constituency, Okitipupa Constituency 1 as year 2024 begins. In an exclusive chat with thepolity.net, Ayebusiwa thanked his constituents for their support and steadfastness , assuring them that he will not disappoint their collective trust in his representative capacity.

The Member of the State Assembly , in his new year charge to his people encouraged them to prioritize communal progress over personal pursuits, stressing that it takes people’s collective effort to enhance the progress of their community and for the community to progress, personal pursuits must not be allowed to override matters that jointly affect the community.

He said while the tendency for people to be more concerned about their personal pursuits is strong, people should bear in mind that personal pursuits can only enrich individuals while communal progress will make all members of the community to be at a vantage point of collective benefit.

Hon. Ayebusiwa, who is The Chairman, House Committee on Tertiary Institutions in The State Assembly, said he will not take for granted the love and support of the people of his Constituency and he has resolve to make his strides in the Assembly to be one his people will be proud of.

On his support for the youths, Ayebusiwa maintained that they are his priority, hence the distribution of notebooks to schools in Constituency 1 as well as provision of scholarships to indigent students in the area. He said as a parliamentarian, who was sent to the Assembly by the overwhelming votes of the majority in Okitipupa Constituency 1, he will continue to consult with elders and the stakeholders and will engender a feed back process that will ensure that everyone is carried along.

On his advice to the youths, Ayebusiwa said he has empowerment program in his kitty and he will launch out in no distant future with schemes that will benefit all and sundry, charging the youths not to be misadvised or allow wrong influence to turn them to security menace .
