Prof. Faduyile celebrates Olori Abodi, says mother is his jewel of priceless value.

The renowned Professor of Pathology and Forensic Medicine and prominent Medical Administrator , Prof. Dayo Faduyile,OON, has congratulated his mother on the occasion of her birthday.

His mother , Olori Grace Faduyile, the amiable wife of the Abodi of Ikale land, Oba George Babatunde Faduyile, celebrates her birthday on the 31st March.

In his candid description of his mother, Prof. Faduyile , while appreciating his mother on her birthday, said Olori Grace Faduyile is to him and all his siblings ‘ a jewel of inestimable value’, stressing that he is using the opportunity of the unique day to thank his mother for all she has done for him right from when he was in the cradle, growing and surviving as a baby in her capable arms, all her prayers and her support in the home front as a career woman and a committed housewife.

In the congratulatory statement which Prof. Faduyile signed and released to the Press, he noted that the celebrant stands out as a model of motherhood and an exemplary ‘mother as a care giver, ‘ adding that he owes his success to God and his mother, who was there for him and his siblings all through the years.

Prof. Faduyile said he appreciates God over the life of his mum, noting that God has been there for her through thick and thin. He said Olori Abodi has enjoyed God’s grace just as her name implies , indicating that his mother rose through the ranks in her chosen career and reached the peak as one of the few female School Principal of her era, adding that as a teacher and a mother she was and is a stickler for discipline and good moral conduct, whose life shaped his world view as a child and under whom he had learned the virtue that a good name is better than gold and silver.

Reminiscing on his growing up days, Prof. Faduyile noted that his mother is not known for suffering fools gladly, hence there is no space for misdemeanor either as a child or wards staying with her and these have become values that all those who grew up within her household have held on to religiously.

He said it feels good to know that the very strict and extremely disciplined School Administrator of yore is aging gracefully , adding that God has beamed the grace of good health on his mother and he is very excited about this. “My darling mother is advancing in age beautifully but she has not lost steam one bit. She is still an imposing beauty , a firm supporter of her husband and the better half who prays always and whose prayers are working wonders in the life of her children,” Prof. Dayo Faduyile enthused.

While wishing his mother a prosperous birthday , he pray God to continue to bless the celebrant with amazing good health all year round.
