Prof. Faduyile congratulates Gov. Aiyedatiwa over Appeal Court ruling affirming his Guber victory.

By Steve Ovirih.

The Court of Appeal sitting in Akure, the Ondo State capital has affirmed the governorship victory of Gov. Lucky Aiyedatiwa . The three Justices who heard the case agreed unanimously that the true winner of the November , 2024 Guber poll was the incumbent Governor of Ondo State. Gov. Aiyedatiwa and his Deputy, Dr Olaide Adelami ran in the poll under the flagship of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

In his reaction to the ruling, Prof. Dayo Faduyile, OON, has congratulated Gov. Lucky Aiyedatiwa and his Deputy over their second round of victory in the court. Recall that Gov. Aiyedatiwa was pronounced at the Ondo State Governorship election Tribunal as the validly elected Governor of Ondo State earlier in the year.

Prof. Faduyile said the opposition party though are apparently chasing shadow, their effort has consolidated the grip of Gov. Aiyedatiwa as the popular choice of the voting masses of Ondo State.

The Professor of Pathology and Forensic Medicine charged the opposition parties to join the Governor in his bid to cause a turn around in the state through ‘The Our Ease Agenda’ which demonstrates Gov. Aiyedatiwa’s socio economic blue print for the Sunshine State.

Prof. Faduyile said with the case being resolved in the favour of the incumbent at The Court of Appeal, the opposition hopefully will not pose any legal distraction to the resolve of the Governor to move the state forward. While congratulating Gov. Aiyedatiwa for his deserving victory which had started with his clearing of the polls across all the 18 Local Government Areas of Ondo State at the Guber Poll, Prof. Faduyile called on the people of Ondo State to continue to support the lofty policies of the state Government.
